Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted into the ICU at Lilavati hospital on Wednesday due to Kidney ailment and dehydration. 94-year-old Kumar was last admitted in December in Lilavati after he complained of fever and swelling in his right leg. He’s had various visits to the hospital in the last few years.
According to the hospital, the legendary actor is stable and will be discharged in a few days, and he just admitted due to old age related ailments. “He is suffering from a series of old age-related ailments and needs regular medical intervention,” said Ajay Pande, vice-president at Lilavati hospital.
According to doctors, Kumar is suffering from kidney problem and is currently undergoing treatment for it; he is also slated to undergo a few blood tests, according to the Lilavati doctors.
