LYF is known for its mid-ranged and budget offerings with 4G and VoLTE support. On Tuesday, the company has taken the wraps off a slightly expensive offering, known as the LYF Earth 2. This handset comes with features like Retina Unlock, which lets you unlock the device using your retina (eyes).
This is a rare feature in modern day smartphones, which makes the Earth 2 a pretty attractive offering. The handset comes with conventional PIN based unlocking as well as fingerprint based unlocking on board, so there are a wide range of security options available with the Earth 2. The company is calling this Smart+ Security.
The other hardware specs aren’t all that bad either as the handset sports a 5-inch 1080p display and an octa-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 chip. The Earth 2 will be available in Black, Green, Gold, and White for a price of Rs 21,599.
