Mann Ki Baat

In his monthly Mann ki Baat radio address, Modi hailed the role of leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Ram Manohar Lohia, Charan Singh and Devi Lal for recognising agriculture and the farmer as vital aspects of the nation’s economy. Mr Modi also said he was an example of Ambedkar’s philosophy. But, the hue and cry is that, in his governance the statues of ‘Mahapurushes’ are getting vandalised in various parts of the country. I wish that Modi should make one of these famous personalities as his idol and then continue his job following them. The scenarios of India would not be as atrocious as we see today.
