Actress and now Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle had a ‘fairytale’ wedding with Prince Harry at the Windsor Castle on May 19, with tens of thousands of people lining the route.
The Duchess of Sussex looked beautiful in a pure white silk Givenchy gown and a Tiara.
Daniel Martin, Meghan’s makeup artist and friend, shared the sweetest description of the actress to a leading magazine, saying, “You literally felt the energy and the happiness and the love. You could just hear the wave of cheers coming into the church.”
Martin further revealed that when Markle came walking in, it was almost like an eruption as he was trying to control his tears so hard. He added, “And then she walked in and she had this giant smile on her face. And then I just lost it.”
Prince Harry, sixth in line to the British throne, and Markle sealed their wedding vows with a kiss outside Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel, cheered on by thousands of delighted crowds.
The couple – now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – had exchanged rings in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II and 600 celebrity guests. The Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner, conducted the wedding service while the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby had officiated it.
