A triple hundred for your maiden Ton in Test cricket is incredible achievement and Karun Nair deserves all accolades for this record breaking feat. Only legendary Garry Sobers and iconic Bob Simpson have achieved this feat before and the God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar didn’t score a triple hundred in his record breaking international career. From ‘Death to eternity’ has been the story for Karun Nair this year as he almost lost his life in a boat mishap in Kerala in the early part of this year and here he finishes the year with perhaps the happiest moment of his life. 303 not out is perhaps the most gracious innings from an Indian batsmen in Test history apart from two 300 plus knocks from the murderous Virendra Sehwag. Karun is here to stay as his temperament is unbelievable and we should hear a lot of exploits from his blade in the coming years. Well done Ka-Run. Keep the runs flowing from your bat and all the very best for a great future!
