Minister for Employment Guarantee, Horticulture, and Coastal Land Development, Bharat Gogawale, pledged to elevate rural development through the Employment Guarantee Scheme, aiming to set a transformative benchmark for the state. Speaking after formally assuming charge of his department at the Secretariat, Gogawale outlined his vision to replicate the success achieved in Raigad district across Maharashtra.
Gogawale highlighted how employment guarantee initiatives have significantly improved living conditions in Raigad’s villages, expressing his commitment to expanding these benefits statewide. He emphasized the scheme’s impact on rural communities and announced plans to accelerate development through large-scale, impactful projects.
During the occasion, the minister paid tribute to the portrait of Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, reaffirming his dedication to progressive social reform. The event was attended by officials and staff from the Employment Guarantee Department and the Minister’s office, marking a promising start to Gogawale’s tenure.
