MNS files complaint against AiB’s Tanmay Bhat over video on Tendulkar, Lataji

AIB comedian Tanmay Bhat is in trouble, Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) filed a complaint against him over AIB’s video captioned ‘Sachin vs Lata Civil War’ issue. They also threatened to thrash him if he will not apologies.MNS Complaint against AIB-AVMNS has also threatened violence against any event featuring the 28-year-old stand-up comedian. Tanmay is one of the co-founders of comedy sketch group All India Bakchod.

The Mumbai Police’s Cyber Crime Cell is preparing to block the offensive video. Mumbai Police’s ACP Yashwant Pathak said, “The Cyber Cell division is now in touch with Google, Facebook and YouTube over the issue.”

The cyber cell is also trying to trace the IP of the video and will urge the social media giants and video sharing sites to block it.

This may prove to be a herculean task for the cyber cell sleuths given proxy servers and the huge number of shares that the video has got.

Standing right outside a Shivaji Park Police Station, MNS Chitrapat Sena president Ameya Khopkar said that they will beat Bhatt “whenever they see him”.

“Whenever we will see Tanmay, we will thrash him in our style. We will neither spare him nor will allow him to do any shows,” the MNS leader said.

“Some things should be beyond politics. Our agenda is clear. Those who have made videos on Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar should be arrested,” he demanded.

Even, actors Anupam Kher, Riteish Deshmukh and Celina Jaitly have criticised Bhat for roasting Tendulkar and Mangeshkar, calling the video “not funny”.
