Thane district collector Dr Mahendra Kalyankar today issued a warning to those property owners who have not paid commercial NA tax on the mobile towers standing on their premises (atop buildings).
An official release here said such property owners should pay the tax immediately, otherwise the mobile towers would be sealed from December 7.
Thane tehsildar K K Badane said there were a total of 1,523 towers of various mobile service providers within the limits of Thane, Mira Bhayander and Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporations.
The administration also issued warning to those who have failed to pay royalty on illegal excavation, asking them to pay up by November 30, saying that else their properties would be sealed.
