The woman has accused that while having an argument over parking issue, Nawazuddin slapped her. Following this, an FIR has been lodged in the Versova Police Station in Mumbai, against the actor of physical assault.

The incident took place in the housing society where the actor lives.

Sona Dandekar, the chairman of Zohra Aghadi Nagar housing society at Yari Road said that her 24-year-old daughter had been manhandled by the actor, his brother and support staff on Sunday afternoon.

“We had served several notices to him to vacate the (housing) society’s compound (parking) space,” the mother of the complainant said.

“Two bouncers were brought to oppose anyone attempting to park their vehicle in the compound,” Dandekar said.

“When my daughter started clicking pictures, they (Nawazuddin and his brother) physically assaulted her and verbally abused her,” she added.

Finally at around 6pm, the Versova police registered an FIR on the basis of the complaint given by her. The actor was charged under section 354 of the IPC that deals with assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty.
