Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) will organize it’s first-ever food festival at Belapur from February 11 to 14th Feb to focus on healthy eating habits among citizens. The first of its kind initiative by NMMC aims at promoting healthy eating and cooking habits among citizens. The food fest will feature more than 100 food and craft stalls along with live performances bNMMC to organise food festival at Belapury musicians and dancers. The festival will include more than 100 food and craft stalls along with live performances by musicians and dancers.
An organic food stall will be set up and workshops on healthy eating and cooking habits will be held. Residents can get certificates for participating in a one-day workshop by a celebrity chef. The workshops will include those on secret health recipes and cooking dishes rich in Omega 3 followed by a free health check-up for kids.
“The Navi Mumbai Food Festival 2016 is a platform to unite different cultures at the Food Festival and promote young entrepreneurs and home makers-bakers. Along with the initiative to encourage healthy eating habits, the NMFF 2016 initiates cultural ties,” adds Nehal Thakkar, Founder, Madea Creative House, the official event partner for Navi Mumbai Food Festival.
