No achche din for savings ac holders

Leading public sector bank and private sector banks have begun to impose bank charges’ under different ‘headings.’ They have started charging customers for deposits, withdrawals, using debit and credit cards. This is certainly not ‘achche din’ for the bank account holders. And majority of the Indian population is poor or hail from the lower middle class. No sympathy for them? At least, all the senior citizens and savings account holders should not be taxed under any ‘reason.’ For the taxing purpose in any name, all the banks have home and car loan borrowers, current account holders, overdraft account holders and a few others. Modi government is humbly requested to scrap charges imposed on senior citizens and savings account holders immediately. I and my wife are senior citizens and earn ‘income’ of less than 5000 rupees per month. How can we maintain the minimum balance of Rs. 5000 or even Rs. 500?
