North Delhi Municipal Corporation and the Non-Government-Organisation (NGO) managing Delhi’s most popular cremation-ground Nigambodh Ghat, should set up a shop where all the items needed for cremation may be available at ‘No-profit No-loss’ for convenience of people coming there for cremation. Move will also take care of encroachers having set up shops on pavements and road outside gate of the cremation-ground.
Authorities and management at cremation-ground should also approach Mother Dairy authorities to set up a milk-booth just outside the Yamuna Bazar gate of the cremation-ground so that milk, curd etc. needed in the morning for rituals during ash-collection may also be available there only. Such milk-booths will also cater to the needs of residents of Yamuna Bazar.
