No Test Or Recovery Required In A Drugs Case

ncb, drugs, narcotics control bureau, bollywood, drugs, narcotics

NCB has claimed to expose many big shots of Bollywood celebrities who are involved in the drugs case. Following the leads given by the arrested accused. One arrest guided the NBC officers to another clue, and this is how continuous arrests are made in the last six months. This leads it to the names like Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, and Shraddha Kapoor, Bharati Singh and her husband, and now recently the con in the law of Nawab Malik. NCB used Jaya Saha WhatsApp chats in its investigation. Jaya is said to be a facilitator for Bollywood celebrities. NCB has got many leads from WhatsApp chats of the accused. Experts say that digital footprints are enough proof of drug usage and NCB does not need to conduct any kind of tests on the accused or recover drugs from them physically. The WhatsApp chat or the digital footprints of the drug transaction can be easily established and stand in the court of law. Who supplied the drugs, how was the payment done, whose card was used for payment, how many times was it used, what was the quantity of order.

The Maharashtra unit of the Congress alleged that Bollywood was being deliberately “terrorized” through the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The Central probe agency has been investigating the drug angle linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The NCB had earlier questioned some actors in connection with the probe, conducted raids on several occasions to unearth the alleged “Bollywood-drugs” nexus, and arrested many suspected drug peddlers but all came out on bail.

In a bid to unearth a connection between Bollywood and drugs, the Narcotics Control Bureau in the last three to four months have been raiding houses of various actors and people associated with them and interrogating them. It is even probing an old video of a party at Karan Johar’s house. The filmmaker was served a notice over the party organized by him when Devendra Fadnavis was the chief minister.” The Congress says deliberate attempt is being made to terrorize Bollywood through the NCB. BJP has “maligned” the image of Maharashtra; more than 50 people have been arrested so far by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with Bollywood drug case. What was the benefit of arrests if everyone charge-sheeted released by trial courts? That is what happens nowadays. Seldom the CBI cracked any worthwhile case with imprisonment for the charge-sheeted. In fact, in many cases, serious strictures were made against them in courts like the CBI court’s comment against them in the 2G-scam case and Allahabad high court’s stricture against them in the Aarushi murder case. If you want to prove anyone as a drug consumer you can. And NCB has a very good reputation for doing false actions on people and proving them as druggists.

As these people do a lot of work and diet, they have to control their hunger and all temptations they consume some drugs. Some drugs are legalized. So, if they consume, they are doing it just to do their work. But in many cases, they are doing as it is passion, especially young celebs. Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB is regarded as one of the most dishonest, if not the most corrupt of all government departments. It is mainly used to “frame” opponents by politicians since persons charged for narcotics possession could not get bail for 1 year. As a result, in 95% of cases, no judge believes the NCB pieces of evidence. So, nothing worthwhile will come from NCB and CBI investigation in the drugs case.

Recently, Mumbai’s renowned ‘Muchhad Paanwala’ was arrested in connection with the drug case. The NCB office in Mumbai for interrogation in the case also interrogated Komal Rampal, sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. Earlier, when Komal was summoned in connection to a drug-related case, she had informed the investigation agency through her lawyer that she would be unable to appear. The NCB had also conducted raids in the Bandra and Jhar areas of Mumbai and arrested UK Citizen Karan Sajnanai and Rahila Furniturewala, ex-manager of a Bollywood actress and her sister Shaista Furniturewala.

Arjun Rampal was also probed in a drug-related case. He was questioned by the NCB on November 13, after raids were conducted at his residence on November 9. His girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was later questioned for six hours on the same day. In recent development Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan taken for a medical test after his arrest. There are many investigations so far and many are under arrest but none of them proven guilty or convicted in the Drug case.

nawab malik, sameer khan, malik, sameer, ncp, nawab malik's son-in-law, drug, ncb, drugs, nirofer malik khanNawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday in a drug-related case and has been sent to NCB custody till January 18. On Thursday, NCB conducted a raid at his Bandra residence. In a huge discomfort, the NCB on Wednesday somehow detained Sameer Khan. NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede stated that Khan was arrested after being interrogated the whole day on Wednesday.

A huge stash of imported strains of Ganja was recovered from the Khar resident Karan Sajnani. He along with his two sisters – Rahila Furniturewala and Shaista Furniturewala along with Ramkumar Tiwari of ‘Muchhad Paanwala’ were arrested under the provisions of the NDPS Act and produced in the court. During the investigations, the role of Sameer Khan, a resident of Bandra also came to light. Sameer Khan is the son-in-law of Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik.

“Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is conducting multiple raids in Mumbai. After the arrest of one Sameer Khan yesterday, NCB intensified its investigation in the drugs case, multiple teams of NCB are conducting raids in Mumbai since last night” said an NCB official.

Whereas NCP leader Nawab Malik wrote on social media, “Nobody is above the law and it should be applied without any discrimination. Law will take its due course and justice will prevail. I respect and have immense faith in our judiciary.” soon after that Malik switched off his phones and gone out of communication to avoid media questions. Maha Vikas Aghadi is in turbulence with various attacks, Dhananjay Mundhe’s second marriage and children are in news, and on the other hand, Shiv Sena leaders facing heat from ED. all is not well with Maha Vikas Aghadi.

NCB sources said that Sameer Khan was examined and during the interrogation of Sajnani, it was found that he had invested money in the drug supply chain run by Sajnani. The drugs being supplied by Sajnani were supplied not only in Mumbai but also in other states across the country. Sajnani is suspected to have been running the drug supply chain with connections in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur as well, following which the agency conducted raids.

Sameer Khan was called on Wednesday morning after Sajnani as one of his business partners revealed his name. He was questioned for over 12 hours and then was placed under arrest. NCB has found incriminating digital evidence against Sameer Khan regarding his dealings and investments with Sajnani.

NCB officials had also found a transaction of Rs 20,000 between Sameer Khan and drug kingpin Karan Sajnani who was arrested last week and 200 kg of drugs were recovered from him.

Nearly, hundreds of Shiv Sainik have been spotted near Kandivali railway station holding placards and raising slogans against Kadam and BJP party. BMC Poll Promises; Congress Flatters City’s Slum Voters With Freebies

congress, mumbai congress, bhai jagtap, bmc elections, Rolling out its first pre-election announcement, newly appointed Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap said that the party will go all-out to provide free water supply to all slum households. According to official records, every second person in Mumbai resides in a slum.

As per the 2011 Census, around 52.07 lakh people, of the total Mumbai population of 1.21 crore, reside in slum colonies. With legal homes being exorbitant – a chronic issue in Mumbai – the number of slum residents has grown further in the past decade, sources said. After declaring its intention of contesting the BMC elections independently, the Mumbai Congress has drawn this plan to regain its lost support base among voters. And to do so, it has opted for the “tried and tested” plan of wooing the city’s slum voters with freebies. Free water for all slum-dwellers, regularisation of post-2000 slum homes, and Janata darbars across Mumbai where ministers from the party will resolve grievances of the people.

Jagtap told Afternoon Voice, “Lakhs of new slums have sprung up since 2000. In the absence of legalised water connections, these households are being browbeaten by the tanker mafia. The BMC was compelled to provide water supply connections to slums up to 2000. But we are in 2021 now. Our demand is that every slum household, regardless of when it came up, should be given free water.”

“The party has also decided to push for regularisation of all slum households that have come up post-January 2000. The slum redevelopment plan must be reviewed,” said Jagtap.

From hoisting the Congress flag in the BMC in an alliance with the Republican Party of India (Athawale) in 1992, the Congress slid to just 31 seats in 2017. It failed to open its account in Mumbai in two back-to-back Lok Sabha polls since 2014 while managing to win just four seats in the city in the 2019 Assembly polls. Congress’ decline has coincided with the rise of BJP, which rode Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity to win 82 seats in the 2017 BMC polls. The politically significant North Indian migrant Hindu vote, once a loyal support base of the Congress in Mumbai, has shifted almost entirely towards the BJP.

For the middle class, Congress has backed the proposal for a complete waiver of property tax for all houses of 500 sq ft or less. The BMC had passed a resolution to this effect before the 2019 Assembly polls but is yet to implement it. While Sena has indicated that it wants all Maha Vikas Aghadi constituents to contest the BMC polls in an alliance.

Taking a leaf from AAP’s model in Delhi, the Congress has decided to hold a series of Janata darbars across Mumbai, where ministers from the party will go to the people and attempt to resolve their grievances. “We are calling it Mantri Aaplya Dari (minister at your doorstep) initiative,” said Mumbai Congress’ working president Charan Singh Sapra.

Further, the party plans to conduct district-wise sammelans (gatherings) to enthuse its cadre. Jagtap said that he and other party leaders will go on padayatra in various wards to speak to the people. On the directives of the party high command, the party has formulated a 100-day action plan to gear up for the 2022 polls.

“Proud And Historic Moment”, Says Adar Poonawalla, After Dispatch of Covishield Vaccine

Adar-Poonawalla-Covishield-COVID-19

In an early hour of Tuesday morning, the first consignment of the vaccines rolled out of the Serum Institute of India (SII) facility in Pune for transport to various locations in the country. Speaking on the same CEO of SII Adar Poonawalla said the dispatch of Covishield vaccines for the January 16 national inoculation drive a ‘proud and historic’ moment.

The real challenge lies in taking the vaccine to the ‘common man, to the vulnerable groups of people and to healthcare workers’ cited Poonawalla.

‘Our trucks left the SII facility early morning and now the vaccine is being distributed in the entire country.

This is a proud and historic moment as scientists, experts and all other stake-holders took great efforts while making this vaccine in less than a year,’ continued Ponnawalla.

The CEO of SII also informed that he has offered the vaccine to the Government of India (GoI) at a special price of Rs 200.

‘This is one of the most affordable vaccines in the world and we are offering it to the GoI at a special price just to support the Prime Minister’s vision and to support the ‘aam aadami’ of our country,’ he added.

He also said that once the SII gets the requisite permission, the vaccine will be made available in the private market at the cost Rs 1,000.
