Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray stated that suggestions of local residents will be taken into account while carrying out developmental work in tribal dominated Palghar district. Thackeray had undertaken a tour of Palghar Lok Sabha constituency during which he held road shows and had conversation with various communities including Sikhs and Christians. He also met locals and fishermen and had corner meetings with them.
“The development projects in the district will be carried out after having consultation with locals,” he assured.
The Sena which has a pre-poll alliance with BJP will be contesting Palghar Lok Sabha seat. Sena has nominated Rajendra Gavit who had quit BJP to join Congress and emerged victorious in the Palghar Lok Sabha bypoll.
