Korean pop sensation Psy, stormed the international markets with his famous ‘Gangnam Style’ album in 2012. The song became such a rage that even after two years of its release—it has managed to surge past the maximum view limits on YouTube, reports suggest.
According to international websites, the song has received 2,147,483,647 views as on December 4, 2014, which is the maximum counter for views on the video sharing site. Interestingly, on December 21, 2012, the song became the first video to reach a billion views on YouTube. And it has pushed Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ number to the second slot in terms of popularity.
Reports further suggest that the video-sharing giant even issued a statement announcing that the song had broken their counter at 2,147,483,647, and they were rewriting their software to handle larger numbers.
‘Gangnam Style’ was loved by music lovers for its quirkiness and innovative dance moves.
