Filmmaker Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is in the news for almost two years now. First, the movie got delayed then the alleged-break-up rumour of the lead pair, and now finally when the shoot is on track, and its near completion—we hear that the plot has been inspired from a famous Hollywood flick.
Well, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be seen playing the lead in this detective drama, which has been inspired from 2003 Hollywood film ‘The Singing Detective’. This film was based on a television series by the same name and starred Robert Downey Jr in the lead.
The report states that just like in ‘The Singing Detective’, the lead character suffers from skin disease psoriasis and delves into the fantasy world, where he tries to get deeper into the solving mysteries through musical narration.
Now, in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ it has been reported that the lead pair too will talk through songs and the film has about 15 odd numbers.
