Actor Ali Fazal, who has become a regular at fashion events of late, wants to find his place in Bollywood before focusing on any other arena of showbiz, including designing for a fashion brand.
Ali walked the runway for actor-comedian Vir Das’s exclusive designer line at Lakme Fashion Week’s last edition, and he was again spotted at the opening day of the Summer-Resort edition here on Wednesday.
Asked if he plans to come up with his own fashion line in future, the “Fukrey” actor told IANS: “I walked in boxers last year for Vir, but yes may be one day I will think about designing.
“Currently, I don’t feel qualified to be a part of designing. I am still grappling with my films, my acting and celluloid and runways are very new experience for me. I am still trying to see and try my luck on the ramp.”
The actor was here to attend the Gen Next show that flagged off the ongoing edition of the fashion gala.
Talking of his own fashion quotient, Ali said: “I do have my own style but I like to follow trends and be inspired. I respect that.”
