Invalidation of triple talaq and Right to privacy were landmark judgment passed by the Supreme Court in the last few days. Some constitutional laws are outdated and needs to be changed. Termination of pregnancy after certain weeks is not allowed by the courts but I strongly feel it needs to be changed fulfilling certain conditions. Rape victims should be allowed abortion under medical advice as why should the girl in question live with the social stigma all her life for no fault of hers. Abortion should also be allowed if the foetus has abnormalities as the life of the mother as well as the child are sacrificed in such cases. Juvenile laws too need to be changed. If a boy under 18-Yrs of age can produce a baby by raping a girl, why should he be given cover under juvenile laws and should be given punishment that is good for others. Similar is the case for murders and other heinous crimes.
