Banning alcohol on National and States highways’ restaurants won’t help curb drunk driving. The solution most drivers will resort to, is to carry alcohol with them so that they don’t need to buy it at all. While I fully support this ban, I am sceptical about how it could be implemented. Whether, it is 200 or 500 metres, a drinker will anyhow find his watering hole. Creating awareness among drivers is the need of the hour.
