Trouble stricken Srinagar witnessed Independence Day flag fiasco as the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister faced much embarrassment when the national Tricolour fell off the post. This is the way we respect National Flag as the lapse showed our careless attitude. As a result of that the National flag was held in the hand by two security staff. It was not the first time we pay disrespect to the national flag in this way. Government machinery is not functioning in a responsible way to protect our national flag. Even though an inquiry will be conducted in this incident the root cause for such an incident is a shame for the state.
