The song “Bandeyaa” from the film “Jazbaa” features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but sans a display of her dancing skills. The actress says the attempt was to stay true to the essence of the film, which has serious overtones.
Talking about the song at a media interaction, Aishwarya said: “We wanted to stay true to the film. Just because we had Sanjay (Gupta), I and Ahmed Khan, we didn’t want to add dance moves. We just kept it very simple and stayed true to the film.”
Aishwarya is portraying a criminal lawyer in the film.
