Amit back in action

Amit Shah gets the throne for the second time as BJP president despite Delhi and Bihar rout as he gets good appraisal with Modi’s blessings. The re-election of Amit Shah, one of the most trusted aides of PM Modi, as BJP’s President was intended to be a resounding and emphatic endorsement.
But the unanimous election was marred by the usual hiccup as the seasoned BJP veterans LK Advani and MM Joshi were conspicuous by their absence. This will be Shah’s first full term as he had taken over from Rajnath Singh, who had joined the Union cabinet.  As such, Shah will entitled to another three year term after his new term ends in January 2019 and he might be still at the helm of affairs in the next Lok Sabha elections.  The party constitution allows two term of three years each to the party president.  Amit Shah is in action all the time and won the confidence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in more than one way. It is time to revamp the party position and bring the past glory before the General Elections and make the dream of Modi returning to power for the second term.
