My God, Afternoon Voice looks as though it is dressed to kill. Giving colour to the masthead and a face-lift to AV is a well-considered decision, and in keeping with the times. AV looks really cool. The overall get-up and the page design are indeed elegant, stylish and contemporary. It is aesthetically very appealing. The Georgia font is soothing to the eye. The staff members continuing are taking the best possible efforts to make the content wise richer and more readable. The new design is another feather in the cap of AV that has a rich history of journalistic excellence. In a day and age when increasing online readership is eating into distribution, registering growth in readership is a significant achievement. Afternoon Voice has stood the test of time and has maintained its identity covering Mumbai when all others took the “sensational” route. It shows that one need not to resort to so called populist news to sell newspaper. Value and integrity of AV is an enlightening example for the whole news industry. AV has got a well-deserved appreciation from the public for its commitment to professionalism, and its earnest to bring the ‘Truth’ to the people. Your Edit Page section is something unique which not only helps us point any anomalies in the news but also bespeak the paper’s responsiveness and openness. AV’s credibility, independent editorial stand, and reliable and balanced presentation of news, analysis, and comment” definitely earns it a place on the pedestal. I really appreciate and congratulate the entire Afternoon Voice Team for producing such an excellent tabloid daily which have won the heart of the readers for their fine printing, layout, contents, sharp photographs etc. Some special issues are worth preserving for their beautiful presentation, coverage of news items and excellent production. Once again, I would like to thank the entire team of the tabloid and express my deep appreciation for all the righteous and balance news since the inception of this very daily. I would say AV is a class by itself.
