Bangladesh will start as Dark Horse for World T-20

Kudos to M S Dhoni and his men for winning the Asia cup but minnows Bangladesh has come a long way in limited overs cricket and are the dark horse for the T-20 world cup which would be held in India. India has a strong batting line-up and our batsman outscore the opposition most times while our bowling is still the weak-link. Indian conditions are conducive to big totals which is to our advantage and we would start as favourites to win the T-20 tourney.

Bangladesh on the other hand has a balanced unit with good bowling attack as well as batsman who can score when the chips are down combined with decent ground fielding. They have nothing to lose while our boys would play under pressure to win and the coming tournament would be a battle of the nerves. Bangladesh outplayed Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup and I would not be surprised if they knock out big names and make it to the semi-finals of the T-20 world cup.

Dhoni and his blue battalion are in top gear at the moment but T-20 is all about who plays better on a particular day. We must not be complacent and play to our strengths and there is no reason why we cannot be victorious in the T20 world cup. May the better team win and India winning the cup would be an icing on the cake!
