BCCI is trying to play its own game and keep the card close to its chest in financial matters is facing the music from Supreme Court. The apex court gave green signal to follow Lodha Panel directive to run BCCI in a transparent manner. However, the Board has not be adhering to the guidelines of Lodha committee. SC is stubborn and threatened to dismiss top brass of the Board and an interim order will be out to offer BCCI a last chance. The sporting body is in the dock as the SC questioned the credentials of Board President as well. Indian Cricket board has not faced such a ticklish situation as had refused to come under the ambit of RTI Act. Financial irregularities were part and parcel of the cricket governing authority and when Lodha Panel questioned the authenticity of its functioning in a closed corridor, BCCI ignored the instructions and now will have to fall in line with Lodha Panel for one last time and clean cricket in India.
