Serena Williams blasted Kerber out of her senses to win her 7th Wimbledon title and 22nd Grand Slam to equal Steffi Graf’s achievement which truly in a notable fete in today’s tough competition. She needs to win a couple of more Grand Slam to equal Margaret Court’s all time record of 24 grand slam which should not be difficult for her to surpass as she has it in her going by her form at the moment.
Serena had a barren run these last 12 months and it was a perfect revenge as she had lost to Kerber at the last Australian Open finals. She also then went on to pair with elder sister Venus Williams to win the women’s doubles which was icing on the cake for her at this year’s Wimbledon which makes it more memorable for her. Well done Serena and wishing her good health to surpass Margaret Court’s record in the near future!
