As the second test at Visakapatnam entered the second day, Ashwin emerged as the best spinner in the world as foxed English professionals with fine control over flight and spin. He made the Kiwi batsmen dance to his tune and now he cooked the goose of the Cook side. He batted with a purpose, bowled with a venom and proved the cricketing world as a brainy bowler. His 5 for 67 is the 22nd time that the off spinner is achieving a feat in a clinical way. He is the highest wicket taker in 2016 and just behind Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh in the number of 5 wickets tally in Test match cricket. Ashwin can win a match purely of his bowling and bat usefully to maintain his all round tag at the highest level.
