Budget not middle class friendly

The budget doesn’t seem to have profited the common man. It will only benefit the government at the Centre. With Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country, bad days are ahead for us. Who said “Achche din aane wale hai?”

Section 80L should have been brought back and the tax-free limit on interest earned from bank fixed deposits should have been raised to Rs 50,000/- per year. This would encourage savings and would have a telling effect on inflation. This would also boost bank fixed deposits.
