Indian cricket teams liking for playing in home turf materialised with number of home matches to be played during this season. After the busy overseas season in Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa, Team India got a chance to display their talent nurtured in our backyard all these years. India’s busy home season include a first day and night test. Over and above we are going to host New Zealand, England and Australia as all of them are holding the Indian rubber after the facile wins in their home land. And so it will be challenge to beat such strong squads in our favourite grounds. One more good news is that the HPCA stadium will host its first Test when India play New Zealand during Oct-Nov this year. After IPL high we hope that the Indian players will learn to play fast bowling well and prune up their batting skills. But the notable omission in Test centres is the deletion of Delhi from the list of 13 test matches to be played at home. In all it will be a busy season of matches and the youngsters can showcase their talent in the best way possible. And the selectors will have the best opportunity to pick the team of their choice for various matches and in different formats.
