Congress needs to stitch its wounds

Instead of plunging into battle field with BJP, it is time for Congress to stitch its old wounds and come stronger. It reminds me of Bollywood films, in which the hero lying in the hospital bed is beaten black and blue and come out with a vigour to oust his enemies in a fit of rage. Congress needs such a drastic change before the year end and make sure that they are a National party and not just pushovers. All along, the party was compelled to play second fiddle with the main regional party and thereby was losing its identity slowly and steadily. Now the time has come for the party to overcome all the obstacles and revive itself with fresh vigour instead of playing blame games. Parliament paralysis saw that the main opposition disrupting the parliamentary democracy and thereby becoming a laughing stock all the time. It is time to keep the fingers crossed and do a world of good to come with openness and broad outlook to avoid further disaster and aim in overcoming all the shortfalls in the last decade. Congress should avoid washing dirty linen in public. Apply restraint, interact with the ruling party carefully and gather strength of its own wings in various States to Panchayat level to make up the loss.
