Cricket clean-up was long overdue and nothing could be done because it was headed by politicians and bureaucrats. After the Supreme Court order for reforming cricket, some drastic changes will be implemented in next few months. Lodha panel report came handy. Impending changes will see both BCCI and state cricket association will have lesser say in the game’s administration. No candidate can hold two posts and one cannot hold the post in the state unit and BCCI at the same time. Cricket lovers in India would like to see the changing face of BCCI in view after the apex court’s verdict.
