Custodial deaths are totally unacceptable. The recurring reports of custodial deaths in police stations in India are highly disturbing. The Home Department is seen least interested in putting an end to this ever increasing danger. Political bosses are least interested in custodial killing. The police unkindness and political insensitivity together have worsened the situation of custodial deaths. It is time for those honest human rights activists to start a direct fight against frequent human rights violation in the state and in the country.
