Playing to the gallery is a pet game for our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ever since he took charge of the Union Government. Modi is bent up decimating terror and at the same time he is very particular about the people who patronise terror at home and across the border. In an obvious attack on Pakistan, he reiterated that the time had come to uproot terror and those who patronise terrorists. In the context of the theme of victory over the evil, he also invoked the legend Ram and Sita to highlight the government’s pledge to end gender bias once for all in our country. It is a good beginning to enter aggression in a big way.
