Deploy more forces in Kashmir

The misery of the terrorists attacks and the defence of the security forces continue to give the locals and the forces anxious moments all the time. Protests and agitations add salt to the wound and the number of civilian deaths touched 78 in the 65th day of unrest in the state. Seven militants and a policeman were killed in two separate encounters in Baramulla and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the situation in the Kashmir Valley at a high level meeting and how far it is going to yield result is just a mystery.  It is time to redeploy security forces and enforce Section 144 in rural areas, the flash point of protests, ahead of Bakr-Eid, while curfew has been lifted in the Valley. The security forces are on the toes from morning to evening to meet the impending danger. Instead of scarifying our forces it is an opportune moment to eliminate terrorists. Unrest in the valley continues as the Army foiled an infiltration bid and attack is the best form of defence instead of just watching the proceeding from the distance. Fighting fire with fire is the best option available at this point of time.
