Vijay Mallya looted Indian Banks to buy properties abroad and now his statement that banks have no right to seek information about his assets in foreign countries should not be taken lightly by the Indian government. Such unsavoury words can only be uttered by a person who made his empire selling ‘liquor’ which in a way is slow poison and kills people who become addicts of alcohol.
Investigating agencies should not take this nonsense from anybody even if he happens to be Vijay Mallya whom our elected representatives sent him to Parliament. The Mallya episode should be made a ‘Watergate’ case for teaching anti-national men like him who loot honest tax payers’ money to lead a luxurious life abroad. Getting Vijay Mallya back to India and behind bars should not be difficult if the Modi government decides to teach fraudsters a lesson. Vijay Mallya one learns has an UK passport while his other family members too have citizenship of other nations but this passport diplomacy is even dangerous than terrorist and if he does not respect the law of the land, we must reply him in the language he understands which could be unlawful as well!
