It’s a shame that in today’s times women are being discriminated because of menstruation. As far as entering shrines are concerned, someone who forbids anyone based on gender, religion or any other criteria from entering into shrine premises is an idiot. Churches are the only religious places in India where both sexes enjoy equal rights when it comes to worship.
