The fixing fever has caught up tennis courts as well all over the world and it is a big news now. From World No 1 Novak Djokovic to the qualifiers are all facing the fixing problem and it makes the much respected tennis game a bad name.  The truth will not come in open in Tennis as well as cricket as the middle man approach the players through their agents and it is the worst kept secret in sporting circles. It is reliably learnt through BBC that 16 of the top 50 players in the past decade, including Grand Slam Champions had been repeatedly suspected of fixing matches for betting syndicates. As betting is official in other countries and there is scope for an illegal act from the behind the scene. After all money matters in all sports and by fixing matches easy money can be earned without shedding sweat in the field of play. However, the report prompted a swift denial from authorities that any evidence of match fixing had been suppressed, as well as speculation over the identities of the players involved.  Now it is time to have ACU in tennis as well so that the officials can keep the sleuths away from the tennis court and thereby save the decorum of the game.
