I am afraid, day after day and year after year the heat wave is going to soar. As we all know very well, the quick, easy money greedy man is the creator of this anti-globe menace by means of felling down dense green forests, establishing and running more and more industries and using innumerable petrol and diesel consuming cars and such other vehicles all across the globe. This will result into tremendous hike not only in the heat wave, but also droughts and horrible shortage of drinking water everywhere. Let’s all start to minimise industrialisation and urbanisation, maximise the use of bicycles and car-pools and also stop forests felling on war footing basis. In fact, dense forests also attract lots of rainfall. We must also understand very well and implement the rain water harvesting with effect from this monsoon itself. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly reminded us all in his popular monthly radio meet ‘Mann ke baat’ on May 22 that water is the God’s grace. We all ought to remember this fact always and stop wasting even a single drop of water and also inspire many others to do so with immediate effect.
