India winning T-20 series

You can call it a thriller as Team India after being 0-1 down was able to equalise and now win the series by defeating Zimbabwe by 3 runs in close encounter. The hit and run game of T-20 is showing signs vast improvement and even minnows Zimbabwe can create a flutter in the shortest form of the game. Having won two matches in a row against India in the last 10 months, the odds were even when the series started at the Harare Sports Club Ground. The home team upset India by two runs in the first game to create stir in the cricketing circle. With poor umpiring decision Zimbabwe could not get past the 100 run mark in the second game and lost a great chance of winning the series outright as Bangladesh did against India in ODI series at Bangladesh. However, the third and crucial match which was do or die game for the both the teams was exciting. The Cremer led side could not dismiss the Indians below 125 after the Team India were tottering at 93 for 5 and only tail and inexperienced batsmen to follow. However, the team failed to contain India and thereby lost a golden chance to win a series. Still, they came near the target as 21 runs were required of the last over and finished four runs short of the victory mark in the end and allowed Team India off the hook. But for Jadhav, Team India lacked depth in batting that saw pacemen playing a pivotal role and that was a worrying factor.
