Tamil Nadu Chief J. Jayalalithaa came, saw and conquered the voters with her dynamism, good governance and a will to work for the people all the time. She hit the jackpot by winning the assembly elections for the second successive time and sixth time overall. Only MG Ramachandran had achieved this feat during his reign. Since 1984 this accomplishment could not be achieved by any political party. She upset the applecart to defeat her arch rival M. Karunanidhi in a most convincing way and kept the carping critics quiet. Jayalalithaa is a force to reckon with in Indian political scene as her party has won enough seats in Lok Sabha and some legislators will get elected to the upper house too.
