Co-curricular activities are very important for every student. These activities help build up a child’s character, and increases their confidence and knowledge. It gives students the opportunity to develop their skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities. Every student must take part in extra-curricular activities held inside or outside their educational institute. A good student must know how to manage their time. Students who participate in such activities easily adjust in a different group and environment. They have a deeper sense of long-term commitment to a work and dedicate their time and effort to that task until it is done. As John C Maxwell put it, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”, a good student must also have leadership qualities. And by leadership it is not meant that one must have a title or designation, but must have the right attitude. Leadership is practiced not so much in words than it is in actions.
