It was heartening to note that Amit Mishra was adjudged man of the match and man of the series in the just concluded India – New Zealand series. Leg spinner Amit Mishra’s 15 wickets in this series is the most by an Indian bowler and he never looked back. In the absence of Ashwin, Mishra emerged as a front line bowler and mesmerised the batsmen with leg spin and googly and helped the side to win a crucial game and thereby helped the side to win the series for India. Mishra magic continues to haunt Kiwi side. Rohit Sharma got yet another opportunity to redeem his lost glory. In all the two wins achieved by Kiwi side was the only saving grace for an otherwise an easy outing for India. Kudos to Team India.
