Maharashtra government on Tuesday issued a government resolution (GR) that allows Mumbai police to accept donations from corporates under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy.
The government has issued a resolution allowing Mumbai police to set up a welfare foundation for police personnel.
The government resolution also mentions that there shall be no conflict of interest while collecting these donations.
