Our country in general and Mumbai in particular should be put on high alert after terrorism strikes in Bangladesh, Baghdad and New York last week.
Central agencies interception of ‘top Pakistani terror mastermind’s call’ to blow up bridges in Mumbai should not be taken lightly by the authorities even though they may be hoax calls as the metropolis has always figured on top of terror strikes in past many years.
Citizens too should remain vigilant and report about any abnormal activities to the police. There is no need to panic but it is always better to remain alert than be sorry. Our intelligence need to be extra vigilant for cracking down coded signals which are often used in terror strikes from across the border. I am sure our protecting agencies are capable enough to safeguard our people. Most terror strikes are planned from across the border. The Pakistani government too needs to stop such activities on their shores as it boomerangs on them too as that nation too is not free from blasts and terrorism!
