National pride more important than entertainment

Salman Khan’s latest salvo supporting Pakistani actors working in India does not come as a surprise and the actor is known for putting his foot in the mouth time and again. Other Bollywood actors too are more bothered about financial losses (if films featuring Pakistani actors are banned) instead of national pride. We have nothing against Pakistani actors working on our shores but we can’t be a banana republic that allows such luxury to people from across the borders while armed men from that country pound citizens and soldiers on our shores. Pakistan is a terrorist state and most acts of terrorism on our shores have its roots across the border with the support of the government there. We should not have sporting or cultural ties with that nation as it would be demoralizing for our armed forces at the borders who face the brutality day in and day out.

Salman had said that the Indian government grants visas and work permit to Pakistani actors. Mr. Khan if we grant them visas that does not mean that it cannot be revoked now in the aftermath of the Uri terror attack incident.

Bollywood stars and filmmakers should shoot their films in Pakistan and speak about their experience and support received by them. Salman Khan is not anti-national but high time he stops his childish behaviour as national security is not entertainment but serious business to protect our pride!
