Catches win matches and fielding is the key to success in cricket, more so in limited overs where every run counts. Fielding one thought was the difference between the two teams as New Zealand beat India at Kotla in the 2nd ODI in an nail biting finish as the home team was overconfident.
MS Dhoni and his men are strong on paper but crumble at times when the top order fails to click. New Zealand is the best fielding side in world cricket and every single run saved means that much less to score or defend. They are nicknamed ‘Black Cats’ and they live to their reputation of agility and cunningness and even a small total could be difficult to chase against them at times. However, winning and losing is part and parcel of cricket and India should win the ODI series with ease as they had done in the Test matches earlier!
