Patel protest is taking a violent turn and the clashes on the quota row continue to cause a disturbed state a perennial problem. Time again the quota struggle is becoming a high volt issue and it spreads like wild fire all the time. It happened in Haryana earlier and the Jat community got what they wanted and now everyone is trying their hand to meet their end a success. Adding certain strata of people to the OBC category give rise to agitation, protest and chaos. Peace was prevailing in Gujarat all these years and now violent protests have intensified in the state on account of Patel reservations. The movement lost its steam after the arrest of Hardik Patel, the self styled leader in mid-October last year. Such agitation turn violent with the spur of the moment and the State Government succumb to pressure with stiff resistance come from these leaders. Patel protest is one more headache for the Modi Government.
