I feel there is nothing wrong if some people consider cow a sacred animal and the ban on illegal slaughter houses should not be politicized by the media. Not going into religious sentiments but the fact that cow gives milk which is a vital source of protein and calcium so very important to our body itself makes its existence sacred. In a land where cats and dogs are given more important as pet than human beings, one feels nothing wrong if some people are asking for a ban on slaughtering cows. People should not be selfish by slaughtering animals once they become old and useless be it a cow, horse or for that matter any animal. Cruelty against animals should be stopped and so should against any living creature. God has made this beautiful universe and let us all respect his creation than killing living things which is injustice and revolt against the almighty.
