Despite protests and agitations all through his recent visit to Pakistan, Rajnath Singh returns to Valley and it is great guts and gumption for the Home Minister. Instead of the earlier Home Ministers, Rajnath is ready to face fire with fire and going to the trouble stricken state to end over a month long agitation. Srinagar in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular is having tourist value and people flock to trouble stricken State in less numbers after the agitation and it is a revenue loss for both the state and the centre. It is time to go ahead and have a fruitful dialogue and see an end to the bitter agitation which saw loss to property and human lives. Taking the task of ending long agitation is a herculean task but Rajnath meant business. We hope that better council will prevail and see the end of agitation backed by stone throwing protesters.
It is a wake-up call for the centre to go all out and resolve this issue amicably.
