Record sixth Asia cup title for Team India

India clinched the Asia cup trophy for a record sixth time beating the hosts by 8 wickets and thus establishing their supremacy in the sub-continent. Team India is very good in playing rain truncated games, as the team members need not stretch to full 20 overs with twists and turns taking heavy toll of the players.  Still Team India had their own anxious moments with Rohit Sharma departed with five runs on the board. Both Dhawan and Kohli had a shade of luck as the bouncing and seaming deliveries troubled the side. A few near misses turn the tables in favour of Team India. Team did not show their victorious celebrations as the crowd were left spell bound in disbelief. Bangladesh tried out a bowler, playing first match of the tournament in the crucial final. The seasoned all-rounder of Bangla team Shakib Al Hassan failed to put up a big score with the bat and bowled two expensive overs when the situation was very tight. In all Bangladesh played like babes and that was open in the final match. A more positive approach of the side by the left-hander could have made a match of it in the end. Dhawan deservingly won the man of the match award and S. Rahman the man of the series award. The standard of umpiring was not up to the International standards and in even in T-20 Internationals, DRS should be introduced to get a fair result of all the matches played in shortest form of the game.
